Another Bad Apple

Ward Davis is an Arkansas-born singer-songwriter who spent years as a respected Nashville co-writer before stepping fully into the spotlight as a recording artist, penning cuts for major acts across multiple genres.

'Another Bad Apple' leans into the neotraditional country tradition of cautionary storytelling, drawing a direct line to the outlaw country narratives of Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard where flawed characters take center stage.

Davis is known for his rich, weathered baritone that sits distinctly outside the polished mainstream country mold, giving songs like this one a raw, lived-in authenticity that resonates strongly with fans of traditional country sounds.
